Ensinger belongs to the world leaders in the development and production of thermal insulating profiles for window, door and façade construction.
Ensinger belongs to the world leaders in the development and production of thermal insulating profiles for window, door and façade construction. insulbar® profiles create thermal separation of the inner and outer shells of metal frames.
It was four decades ago that company founder and pioneer Wilfried Ensinger started to develop what was then a totally unheard-of product: The insulating profile. The driving force behind the development was the growing market demand for thermally improved aluminium systems with a view to saving energy and costs and reducing environmental impact. His expectations of success were overwhelmingly exceeded, and today the name Ensinger is inextricably linked to the invention of the plastic insulating profile – marketed the world over under the insulbar® brand.
The insulation of windows, doors and facades using insulbar® profiles achieves first class results with regard to energy saving and the reduction of heating and air-conditioning costs. In doing so, insulbar® profiles satisfy the highest quality demands in every respect.
Lower energy consumption, reduced heating bills and a greener planet - these are the effects achieved through the use of insulbar®. Innovative drive, durability, stability and a consistently high standard of quality made in Germany - these are attributes for which insulbar® is known and which make it the product of choice.
The plastics they use for their insulbar® profiles are almost exclusively polyamides with optimum mechanical properties for the application in question. They fulfil the highest requirements in terms of stability, durability and insulating effect.
insulbar® insulating profiles are supplied if required with Coex sealing wire. This is used to achieve a perfect seal of the assembly system, and alongside a reliable moisture barrier it also provides additional shear strength for the assembly.
